one year ago today....

We were on an airplane, flying over the big pond towards eastern europe!  Crazy how fast a year passes.  The trip definitely stretched me in lots of ways....ways that were good and ways that were very uncomfortable on lots of levels.
I am sure many of these pictures have been seen by the 10 people that look at my blog,
but I never get tired of looking at them...so, sorry.
Over the past year many of the children we met have been or are in the process of being adopted....but there are many more still waiting.  I love reading and listening to these stories of children coming home!  It always amazes me how God works it out for a family thousands of miles away to find their son or daughter in a crib around the world.
He really does have the whole world, in his hands.  :)

"The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of tiny pushes of each honest worker." -Helen Keller

"You live among the least of these

The weary and the weak.....

And it would be a tragedy

For me to turn away

All my needs, You have supplied

When I was dead You gave me life
...

How could I not give it away so freely?
And I’ll…
Follow You into the homes of the broken

Follow You into the world

Meet the needs for the poor and the needy
God
Follow You into the world...

Use my hands, use my feet

To make Your kingdom come

To the corners of the earth

Until Your work is done....

Faith without works is dead

On the cross Your blood was shed

So how could we not give it away so freely..."

Can't wait for future plans for TEAMworks Ukraine.

I never get tired of looking at the pictures, either. I believe we leave a piece of our hearts in Ukraine when we leave the country... Those babies made in the image of God... with no place to call "home". Heart-breaking...
