Linda trying on a hat while we were shopping in Prairie Grove.....:)

I have been bad about updating my blog. Here's the month in review.

The first weekend in March, we took a trip to Hot Springs to the Horse Races. The whole gang went (Linda, Nate, myself, Bryan, Lindsey, BW, Kati, and Johnny) I LOVE horses, and love to watch them run. I also love Hot Springs because my Dad is there....and I miss him!!!! I've been begging for a horse since I was old enough to say the word "horse." I still ask my Dad each Christmas/Birthday for a horse....but I still haven't gotten one!! He says they are too much trouble....he is probably right. But I still have to ask. I took an Equestrian class in college and LOVED it. Maybe some day. I would love to have a Tennessee Walking Horse.....

Friday the 14th, was Elizabeth's (Joe's girlfriend) 21st birthday. I drove to Fort Smith and went to her birthday party at La Huerta on Garrison. It was SO fun!

Saturday the 15th, Linda and I took Hayden to the Farmington City Easter Egg Hunt! It was a little cold, but we had a lot of fun. Hayden did NOT care that it was cold....only that he got to hunt eggs. That afternoon Linda and I went shopping at some antique shops in Prairie Grove....and I bought a few hats....I LOVE hats....the bigger the better.

I was a little sick the week of spring break. It was a "good" week to be sick because lots of my kids at work were gone anyway. And Thursday of that week I left for Austin, TX for Mariellen's Bachelorette Party/Girl's Weekend! I decided sick or not, I wasn't missing it. I felt much better by Saturday....and I took it pretty easy while there. I LOVED Austin, it was my first time there. It's a very laid back city, with tons of cool restaurants and shopping. I loved the shopping....and the warm weather!

Enjoy the pictures....I will post more often!

Valentine's Day!

Romantic dinner chik-fil-a style! :)
Bryan's other girlfriend Kati....:)

I was telling Kristy and Carmen today how this has never been my favorite holiday, I'm not sure why. I don't dislike it...I just don't love it like I do other holidays. Give me a Christmas Tree or an Easter Egg anyday! However, it is a good time to celebrate the people you love! You would think I would like it a bit more since my name is...Amy Love....but go figure. However, I can just about appreciate any holiday that let's you eat something not on the "WW" plan. I was good all day long...until dinner.

Last week, my friend Linda and I stopped at Chik-Fil-A and we saw that they were having a "Candlelight dinner" on Valentine's Day. I am obsessed with Chik-Fil-A...and I told Bryan that if he hadn't already made plans...to please take me there! He laughed...and agreed (cheap for him). We talked Kati into joining us since Johnny has class this evening! Didn't want her to be lonely. So, Bryan, myself, and Kati had a romantic candlelight dinner at Chik-Fil-A....it was SO fun. I noticed we weren't the only couple with the same idea. And the bonus was....free desserts with any combo meal...hee hee.

Collecting quotes....

I love quotes. I always try to jot them down when I come across them....I use to be better at keeping up with them. Some of these are new ones I have recently discovered....or gotten from one of my friends. If you have any good ones, please leave them for me! I will add them!

"Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Bet it ever so humble, there's no place like home."

"You can make more friends in two weeks by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get people interested in you."

"If you just learn a single trick, Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." -Atticus Finch

"Your good friend has just taken a piece of cake out of the garbage and eaten it. You will probably need this information when you check me into the Betty Crocker Clinic." - Miranda

"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet." Emily Dickinson

"Don't settle for love you can live with, find love that you can't live without."

"Education, experience, and memories are three things that no one can take away from you."

"No people feel closer or more friendly than those on the same diet."

“First we form habits then they form us. Conquer your bad habits, or they’ll eventually conquer you.”

"It is better to ask a few questions than to know all the answers."

"A person will be just about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on." - Sir Winston Churchill

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on." - Robert Frost.

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle

"Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else." - George Halas

Baby Girl

Model Face
Aww, how sweet!

Look at those cheeks! :)

I spent the weekend in Batesville visiting Brandi, Zeke, and Baby Annalyse! Friday day and evening Brandi and I hung out with Annalyse while Zeke took off to "Duck Club"....I called that before I arrived. hee hee...Zeke is an obsessed hunter! We ordered some food to go, and just enjoyed staring at Annalyse all evening and watching her make faces! It was great! Saturday we ventured out the the jewelry store to let Meme watch Annalyse while Brandi and I ate lunch...And Brandi and I went to the movies Saturday night and watched "27 dresses" while Daddy Zeke kept Annalyse! I can't wait for them to come to fayetteville and visit! I already miss Annalyse's little cheeks!
