Collecting quotes....

I love quotes. I always try to jot them down when I come across them....I use to be better at keeping up with them. Some of these are new ones I have recently discovered....or gotten from one of my friends. If you have any good ones, please leave them for me! I will add them!

"Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Bet it ever so humble, there's no place like home."

"You can make more friends in two weeks by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get people interested in you."

"If you just learn a single trick, Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." -Atticus Finch

"Your good friend has just taken a piece of cake out of the garbage and eaten it. You will probably need this information when you check me into the Betty Crocker Clinic." - Miranda

"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet." Emily Dickinson

"Don't settle for love you can live with, find love that you can't live without."

"Education, experience, and memories are three things that no one can take away from you."

"No people feel closer or more friendly than those on the same diet."

“First we form habits then they form us. Conquer your bad habits, or they’ll eventually conquer you.”

"It is better to ask a few questions than to know all the answers."

"A person will be just about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on." - Sir Winston Churchill

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on." - Robert Frost.

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle

"Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else." - George Halas

"I'm not stubborn, I'm... right." Hillary in Beaches

Baby Girl

Model Face
Aww, how sweet!

Look at those cheeks! :)

I spent the weekend in Batesville visiting Brandi, Zeke, and Baby Annalyse! Friday day and evening Brandi and I hung out with Annalyse while Zeke took off to "Duck Club"....I called that before I arrived. hee hee...Zeke is an obsessed hunter! We ordered some food to go, and just enjoyed staring at Annalyse all evening and watching her make faces! It was great! Saturday we ventured out the the jewelry store to let Meme watch Annalyse while Brandi and I ate lunch...And Brandi and I went to the movies Saturday night and watched "27 dresses" while Daddy Zeke kept Annalyse! I can't wait for them to come to fayetteville and visit! I already miss Annalyse's little cheeks!

Ice Skating

Joe and Liz on the ice!
Liz aka Nancy Kerrigan
Holding on to the rail to complete my performance! :)
Group picture!

Bryan and I went ice skating with Joe and Elizabeth the day after Christmas (My brother and his girlfriend). We had a lot of fun. Joe was convinced it would be stupid, but we all ended up having so much fun! I loved to skate when I was younger, so after a few VERY slow times around think rink, I started to feel a little more comfortable...and a little less like I was about to bust it on the ice. Only Elizabeth fell after trying to do a Nancy Kerrigan pose on the ice...dangerous! :)

Happy New Year's!!!

There are no words......
The girls at Cesear's

We went to Las Vegas for New Years, with our friends Kati, Johnny, Lindsey, and Bryan W. It was definitely our "most exciting" New Year's Eve. Last year we spent it together, in our pajamas playing DVD trivial pursuit. Las Vegas was a whole new world. While we were there we ate at Spago (Wolfgang Puck's restaurant), saw Cirque du Soleil "Mystere," and spent time looking for a $5 dollar black jack table...which is nearly impossible. I think the boys ended up finding one at "Bill's Gambling Hall" aka "Wild Bills" (what Lindsey and I renamed it).

We went out every evening...somewhere.

We did have a few celebrity sightings, which I was pumped about. I know, I know....it's silly, but I LOVE People, US weekly, etc... So, I was on the prowl. Lindsey got us the hook up at club LAX in the luxor. Which is a huge celebrity hotspot. With some patience and southern charm, a very sweet bouncer let the gang from Arkansas in. His words exactly were "It's been a pleasure Arkansas." While in line we saw Paris and Nicki Hilton.....love 'em or hate 'em....I thought it was cool. And the girls from "The Hills" were there hosting that evening. I was up in the middle screaming and waving....I was SO excited. I LOVE that show. Also, while we were there, so was Avril Lavigne, Dave Navarro, and Sum 41. Apparently later that evening (sometimes after 1:30am when we hung up our hats) so was Brody Jenner (love him) and Paris/Nicki.

We spent New Year's Eve at IBar at the Rio. We had to walk because they shut down the strip, and no cabs were available. We had to walk (in 3 inch heels) about 2.2 miles...but who's counting...right? Our feet were KILLING us by the time we got to the Rio. Kati and I hung onto each other during the walk over for support, because the boys walked in front of us, telling us to hurry (did I mention it was 40 degrees?). Men would have never made it. It was ridiculous.

We definitely have some funny stories to tell after this trip. We had such a great time, and laughed alot. We are all 6 still catching up on rest.

Happy New Year's to all!
